My Story

I decided on being a trainer full time because, I have always been an active individual even at a young age. Represented my school in football, then progressed to competitive football at a semi pro level. I was really thin then, and I always had trouble making the cut for certain positions on the pitch due to my size. There were times where my coach would ask me to hit the gym on my own to pack on some muscle, but it was always a struggle without proper guidance. No matter how much I ate or trained, I was still thin.

Along the way, due to lack of guidance I picked up a couple of injuries. With those injuries, it helped me understand how to train safe without neglecting form. It also helped me understand those injuries better.

At the age of 16, my dad passed away very suddenly from cardiac arrest. He had several health issues, from high blood pressure, high cholesterol, to type 2 diabetes. He always had trouble watching his diet and didn’t lead an active lifestyle.

With that, it drives me (as a trainer) to want to help individuals with similar health/posture issues, to get their health back on track.

Also, with the experience and knowledge, I am confident in helping and have helped individuals who’ve weight management issues, be it with weight loss, or weight gain. I too have worked with active individuals who’re looking to improve in performance for their sport.

My Interests

With whatever free time that I have, I still play football casually with friends, and do my own training at the gym. It helps me keep in shape, and at the same time, it allows me to meet new people.
